College Profile for: Alaska Vocational Technical Center
The Alaska Vocational Technical Center, also known as AVTEC, is a technical school in Seward, Alaska. AVTEC is subsidized by the Alaska Department of Labor. It's mission is to train Alaskans and prepare them for Alaskan industries that would otherwise require out of state contracts. AVTEC enrollment is open to out of state residents, although at a higher tuition rate.
