Cañada College is a community college located at 4200 Farm Hill Boulevard in Redwood City, California, just off of Highway 280. Cañada College opened in 1968 as part of the three-school San Mateo County Community College District. It is one of the smallest community colleges in the San Francisco Bay Area. The college is located on 131 acres (0.53 km2) in the western part of Redwood City. The college is unique in that it was one of the first community colleges in California to partner with four-year universities to offer bachelor degrees on-site.
