Los Angeles City College, known as LACC, is a public community college in the Hollywood section of Los Angeles, California. A part of the Los Angeles Community College District, it is located on Vermont Avenue south of Santa Monica Boulevard. At $20/unit (California residents), the college offers university transferable courses and career training in technology, health care, the arts and entertainment, child development, nutrition services, administration of justice and more. The campus is one of the most diverse in the nation, with significant representation from students of all ethnic backgrounds ranging in age from under 16 to over 60.
