The Modesto Junior College is a community college located in Central Valley's Modesto, California. It often called by its initialism, MJC. Its current president is [Dr. Richard Rose] who received a [vote of no confidence by the faculty on December 11, 2007]. Its sports teams are referred to as the MJC Pirates. MJC is regarded as one of the best community colleges in the state based on student's High School GPA and transfer percentage.
