San Diego City College (known more informally as City College or City) is a public, two-year community college located in San Diego, California. It is administered by the San Diego Community College District which includes San Diego Mesa College and San Diego Miramar College as well. City College is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. City College is coeducational. It has a semester-based academic calendar. It has a 56 acre campus of 40 buildings situated near Balboa Park. Enrollment as of 2004 was 14,687 students. Courses are provided in general education, lower-division transfer programs, occupational and developmental education.
