Albertus Magnus College is a small private liberal arts college in New Haven, Connecticut. It is located about two miles from the central campus of Yale University in a residential area near the border with Hamden. The neighborhood is on Prospect Street just above Edgerton park and near East Rock. The college uses several of the area's historic 19th-century mansions as classroom and administrative buildings. Since 1926, the College has acquired several mansions, which are now used for student housing and administration. Rosary Hall has become the College library. The latest new construction on campus is the Academic Center for Science, Art and Technology, which opened for classes in January 2005 and designed by Barry Svigals.
