Lynn University (LU) is a private, non-profit university in Boca Raton, Florida, founded in 1962. The university currently hosts students from 40 states and 90 nations. The students also complete a required international study experience as part of their major program, participating in a faculty-led study tour or spending a semester abroad. Lynn University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to award associate's, baccalaureate, master's and doctoral degrees. The university is named for the Lynn family (Eugene M. Lynn), noted philanthropist.
