I am just wondering what time (EST) do grades normally get posted on Valencia College's ATLAS website? They are supposed to be posted today but does anyone know the usual time that they are posted from past experiences or something? I don't want to sit in front of my computer all day waiting and checking. Any help would be great! Thanks!
Is mid june too late to apply for Valencia Community College in the upcoming year? I am referring to the Orlando location.
Top Answer:
Most community colleges have open enrollment meaning you can apply almost up to the time classes start. If I were you I would apply as soon as possible. This is because all of the classes you want might be filled and unavailable by mid June. Most schools will allow you to apply on-line. I looked up Valencia and I saw on the home page that 8/12/11 is the last day to apply for regular enrollment for the fall term. The homepage also has a link called admissions click on that and you will find another link that says applications and forms. From that page there will be another link called link to on-line application. All you have to do then is follow the prompts. If you get stuck there is also a phone number you can call. I hope this made since good luck with school! I am sure you will do just fine!

Top Answer:
Yes you can
would you recommend it? does it move to quickly? i am trying to decide whether or not to take it. its been 4 years since i dropped out of college.
i started my first semester in Valencia and now my family wants to move back to New york city and want me to enroll in CUNY
would i have to wait a year to start school ?
would i get the same amount of financial aid im getting down here in Florida ?
would there be anything wrong when i move back to new york ?
Top Answer:
credits will transfer (valencia is one of the stop cc in the country!!), as for financial aid, idk if that would be the same or not. And dude i would pick nyc over florida, ive been in florida all me life and it's my dream to move to nyc, ill trade you miami for nyc!
I'm a current student in Valencia CC. I'm in a transfer plan: psychology, but I would like to take my transfer to University of Pittsburgh, so I was wonder to know if I'm allowed to do it.
Top Answer:
You are going to have to call up Pitt and ask them. They will have to look at Valencia's accreditation, and analyze the classes that you have taken in order to decide if they will take them.
If you were looking at a UC, this would be easier, because they deal with this every day, and already know all of the CCs, and all of the classes offered, and already have decided what will transfer and what will not.
But since this exact situation has probably never come up at Pitt, you are going to have to break down and ask them.

I really need to print my class schedule, but I can't seem to find it anywhere
Top Answer:
Valenica! Woot woot! I transfer to UCF this summer. Anyway... let me help you. Haha.
To search for classes, go here:
http://net5.valenciacc.edu/schedule/
To print your class schedule, sign into your valencia atlas account. It should be listed on there somewhere. Here's the link:

I am deciding on those two school and from some one who has knowledge of the schools and the architectural degree they offer, what school is better to go to for a better experience and better education?
Top Answer:
I'd say Seimnole for the experience, lots of great chicks, and Valencia for the education.
Hey everyone, I'm starting Valencia this Fall and was wondering if Valencia offers any extracurricular activities. Right now I'm getting my general AA degree but will be going into Sports and Fitness afterward.(Probably in UCF but that may change) Thanks in advance for any info :)
I've looked online and did as much research as I could but I seem to come up with nothing. I'm going to the Orlando East Campus.

Hi Nick.
I've done a little exploring on your campus Web site and found the following pages that should give you some idea of what's available. Keep in mind that many student activities arise during a semester that weren't planned in advance (so they aren't always on the web site).
Students clubs and organizations:
http://www.valenciacc.edu/studentdev/clubs2.cfm
Intramural sports
http://www.valenciacc.edu/studentdev/intramural.cfm
student development
http://www.valenciacc.edu/studentdev/mission.cfm
Also keep an eye on the "news" and "events" listings from the home page
http://valenciacc.edu/
http://www.valenciacc.edu/students.cfm
Also, check out your library site!
http://www.valenciacc.edu/library/east/
Towards the bottom left, in blue, you'll see the link for "Ask a Librarian", which is an email service for getting questions answered.
Have fun at your new job (being a student)!

I got into FGCU but I cant go until I save up money. If I go to VCC can apply again and transfer my sophomore year?
Top Answer:
Typically, your prospects for transferring from a community college to a university are better if you finish your A.A. first. Whether you get accepted will ultimately come down to whether your GPA is good enough and whether the university has room for you. Applying early and maintaining good grades should help give you an edge. It's best to check with FGCU beforehand--they're the ones who will ultimately make the decision.
