Husson University is a private University located in Bangor, Maine, USA, aptly named after its founder Chesley Husson, founded in 1898. Husson was originally named Shaw School of Business and was located on the second floor of a building in downtown Bangor. Enrollment was low until after World War II, when its reputation grew as a business school. Today the University has five schools: Business, Health, Education, Pharmacy, Science and Humanities. Bangor Theological Seminary and the New England School of Communications, two separate institutions independent of Husson, are also housed on the campus.
