College for Creative Studies (CCS) is a leading art education institution in the United States. It is a private, fully accredited, four-year college located in Detroit, Michigan. CCS is credited with having one of the world’s most recognized programs in transportation design and for placing more graduates in automotive design than any other school. The school is a member of the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design (AICAD), a consortium of thirty-six leading art schools in the United States. The college had its origin in 1906 with the formation of the Society of Arts and Crafts.
