Albany College of Pharmacy is a pharmaceutical college in Albany, New York, United States. It was founded in 1881 as the Department of Pharmacy of Union University and is the oldest pharmacy school in New York State. Presently, it is one of the only private, independent schools of pharmacy in the United States. The college offers a six-year Doctor of Pharmacy degree and bachelor's of science programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Biomedical Technology, the latter with concentrations in Clinical Laboratory Sciences and Cytotechnology. A unique accelerated Physician Assistant Studies program is offered in conjunction with Albany Medical College.
