Monroe Community College is a college located in Monroe County, New York with two campuses, one located in the town of Brighton (a suburb of Rochester, New York) and another, the Damon City Campus, in the city of Rochester. The college operates two other training and education facilities and five extension sites. MCC was founded in 1961 and began offering degree programs in September 1962. The college is part of the State University of New York system, also known as SUNY.
