Cabarrus College of Health Sciences is located in Concord, North Carolina. The College offers five associate degree and three bachelors degree programs. 425 students enrolled in degree programs during the 2006-2007 academic year. Associate degree programs offered by the college include: medical assistant, nursing, occupational therapy assistant, surgical technology and a general associate in science degree. Bachelors degrees are offered in health services management, medical imaging and nursing. The College was founded in 1942 by Cabarrus County Hospital to meet the need for registered nurses during World War II.
