RETS Tech Center serves the educational needs of students through offering curricula leading to Diploma or Associate Degree programs. The school is dedicated to preserving, transmitting, and advancing the current state of knowledge, to developing programs which meet the changing needs of the business community, preparing students to become educated professionals, and to encourage graduates to apply the knowledge they gain for their personal development and for the good of the society in which they live. The mission of Education Affiliates and RETS Tech Center is to create opportunities for organizations to hire graduates who have completed quality, people-oriented, post-secondary career training. Associate Degree in Nursing (Associate Degree)
RETSCollege is pleased to announce the introduction of our new Associate Degree in Nursing program for qualified Licensed Practical Nurses. In just over a year, RETSCollege will prepare individuals who currently meet the Ohio requirements as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to become a Registered Nurse (RN). This program expands the skills of an LPN in preparation for the National Council Licensing Examination (NCLEX-RN) to become a Registered Nurse. Since 1953, RETS has prepared qualified individuals to meet a variety of employment demands in the Southwestern Ohio Region. The spectrum of healthcare providers will grow faster than any other industry over the next 10 years with the expected increase in our aging population. RNs account for nearly 2.2 million of the current healthcare professionals today! RETS received conditional approval in July of 2005 from the Ohio Board of Nursing to offer an Associate degree in Nursing and is currently accepting applications for upcoming terms. The Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC). Criminal Justice (Certificate Program)
The Criminal Justice program at RETS will provide students with the information necessary to manage the current needs, criminal aspects, and societal issues associated with the public and private sector. Students are provided a solid foundation in United States criminal law, courts, investigations, and security. Students in this program will get exposure to computer technologies, victimology, communication techniques, and multicultural/juvenile issues that will provide the training necessary to meet the complex demands of our modern criminal justice system. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates from RETS Criminal Justice program are qualified to accept positions with the following job titles: Fraud Investigator, Transportation Security Screener, Pre-employment Screening Researcher, Correctional Program, Specialist, and many more!!!
Electronic Engineering Technology (Certificate Program)

The electronics industry is a fast growing field with several career paths and abundant career opportunities available for skilled individuals. The Electronic Engineering Technology program at RETS College gives students a strong foundation in electrical and electronic theory. Students work with a wide variety of microprocessors, integrated circuits, and radio frequency devices. As a bonus, students will receive exposure to robotics and the operational and programmatic qualities which aid robots in their performance of automated functions in many industries. The graduate will receive the technical skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in this exciting and expanding career field. Concerns about energy efficiency, the integration of sophisticated control systems, new technologies in heating and cooling, and construction spurred by growth have created tremendous career opportunities for trained Heating, Ventilating, AC and Refrigeration technicians. As a technician in the Heating, Ventilating, AC and Refrigeration field, you will work to maintain a healthy, comfortable environment in all types of buildings from residential to commercial. You will apply theory and principles learned in the class and lab settings that will help you to develop, select, operate and test heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment. Paramedic (Associate Degree)
Paramedics primarily work in the pre-hospital setting and are the "eyes, ears and hands" of the emergency room physician.
Practical Nursing (Diploma Program)
The field of nursing has undergone several changes over the last decade. Likewise, the education of nurses has changed dramatically. Students are entering the Practical Nursing Program at a point in time when we are focusing on preparing students for a rapidly changing world of health care. Our goal is to establish a caring, diverse academic learning environment that provides one of the highest standards of nursing education. The Practical Nursing curriculum prepares future nurses in an exciting environment that not only includes classroom and clinical laboratory learning experiences on campus, but also opportunities to care for patients at numerous clinical sites. These sites are located in hospitals, nursing homes and clinics. The Practical Nursing Program holds full approval from the Ohio Board of Nursing. Graduates of this program are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensing Examination (NCLEX) to become a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio

This certification is recognized nationwide as an indicator of high achievement and is supported by airline, hotels, car rental companies and tour operators.
