okay.. so i want to go into massage therapy, but im not positive on which school to go to after high school. any help??:) if you have experience or advice at all on massage that would be great! oh. and i want to go to school in provo, utah.
Top Answer:
Place the name of each school individually into your favorite search engine and add the phrase rankings and reviews. Then do a compare and contrast.
If there is time the best approach is to visit each school and to speak to faculty, students and admissions .
I"m in utah, and i'm an 18 year old boy. There's a university called broadview, and i had an appointment there, and got a tour of the place to get majored in bachelor of arts in sequential imaging. But they always seemed very pushy in getting in their school. It's $500 a credit, and it takes over 150 credits to get my degree. They called me several times to know when i can go over there to pay everything. On the appointment, they had me sign several papers, and my mom was there. They said we already signed the acceptance paper, but my mom said that we never did, and she got way mad. It would cost $75,000 to get the degree, and i would end up up about 40,000 when i get the degree. I'm starting to question this school, it seems a little fishy right now. Maybe i should stay in university of utah, the regular public university, instead of a career college. Does this school sound right to you?
University of utah is only $2000 a semester for full time students.

I was looking into vet colleges and I found a couple but I was wondering if anyone knows anything about these coleges? Please provide a link (if you can) to info about the colleges. Also if have any othe vet colleges that you know that are good and semi-easy to get into tell me! Here's the list to the colleges/universities I found:
Vatterott College; Kaplan College; Harrison College; Broadview University; Penn Foster; Globe University; Anthem College. Thank you ever so much! ^^
Top Answer:
Most of the colleges that you'd mentioned are those online, For-profit schools (though may have 'brick and mortar' buildings and may be 'accredited') including penn foster, anthem and kaplan. Please also steer clear of other schools that are online and for-profit such as devry, ITT tech, strayer, aiu, pima institute, keiser, argosy, sanford brown, westwood, ashworth, capella, high tech, ashford, colorado tech, allied schools, everest, grand canyon, university of phoenix, stratford career, kaplan, heald, walden and others as they are merely out to "make a profit" (** and course credits may NOT transfer to other schools).
Please also be aware that those schools only seem to offer a veterinary technician program as opposed to vet medical school. Vet school admissions is also supposed to be very competitive, as someone else mentioned, especially since there are only a certain number of accredited vet schools. The curriculum should be extremely intense, too.
For accredited veterinary schools (and most need a bachelor's degree to Possibly get accepted): http://www.avma.org
These consumer sites have negative posts by former students about those online, for-profit schools, and please heed the students' warnings:

- http://www.complaintsboard.com and can search.
For U.S. colleges: http://www.utexas.edu/world/univ

details and whatnot. I am 14 years old and I am looking into colleges that I want to attend. I live in California, but I really want to go to Broadview University in Utah. Not sure if I want to be in Orem or Salt Lake City. My sister (21) told me it costs more to move states for a school. How much more? I want to be a chiropractor, acupuncturist, and a masseuse. I plan on taking anatomy and biology, as well as genetics. (I like science) So I guess I want to know as much as I can about the costs of changing states, going to college, and living expenses.
Top Answer:
So you're asking about the out of state tuition vs in state tuition at Broadview University in Utah. I'll try and provide that information for you.
Broadview University: Orem information:
1) This is a proprietary college
2) They only offer massage therapy out of all your interests. You can only get a associates (2 year degree).
3) There website reported no tuition information for out of state residents.
http://www.broadviewuniversity.edu/financial-aid/tuition-fees.aspx - This first link takes you to the tuition page of their website
http://www.broadviewuniversity.edu/default.aspx - This second link takes you to the general website for their college.
You'll want to look someplace else for all the areas that you're interested in. This college just does not have what you're looking for (besides massage therapy).
