California Design College – is one of The Art Institutes, a system of more than 40 educational institutions located throughout North America, providing education in design, media arts, fashion and culinary arts. California Design College is located at 3440 Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles’s historic Mid-Wilshire district between Normandie Avenue and Mariposa Street. Founded in 1991, the school was acquired in 2002 by The Art Institutes, a subsidiary of Education Management Corporation, which is headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. California Design College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS).
