Arizona Colleges and Universities

Or do they just look at the classes we took in high school so when we sign up for classes they give us our options based off of what we took in high school? I live in California and I had to take english and math placement tests for california state universities, but I don't know if you have to do that for colleges in Arizona (Arizona State University in particular).

It depends. I think they'll look at certain AP exams (like Calculus) and if you score X you don't have to take the math placement. Or they'll look at your SAT score and say if you score X you don't....

I found out on their website before I went to orientation so I didn't have to take any placements. I used Spanish AP exam to get out of Language, SAT to get out of Math.

After making his usual spiel about colleges and the future he added in that and I've been searching about it online but I haven't been able to find anything. Do you know if this is true?

I need to know how much the different colleges cost in Arizona for a resident who wants to transfer to a university. I am looking to get a bachelors in psychology or social work.

Because the ASU Polytechnic Campus is closing (lame), I found that I wanted to major in Literature, Writing and Film. But this major does not have a second language requirement. Which is what I want. Out of the other three colleges in Arizona, do they provide this same exact major?

I checked the websites for Northern Arizona University and the University of Arizona and I did not see any majors that relate/compare to the one you were pursuing at ASU.

I really want to get a volleyball scholarship to play at a college in Arizona whether they're a D1 or D2 school. I was thinking about getting a nursing degree or major in physical therapy. Does anyone know of any good schools that offer a good program?

I'm trying to find colleges there or really close to there so I can go to school. I really would like to know there's any with fashion design in them too. I tried to look at the Arizona Western college Catalog for classes and it won't upload on my computer. Anyways can you list any and all there thanks much.
I already searched things on google it just doesn't help. I want to know from a person who lives there or has been there.

Arizona Western College, University of Phoenix, and a campus of Northern Arizona University. I very seriously doubt that any of them would have fashion design in the curriculum. There really isn't a great deal that's NEAR Yuma.

I want an associates degree in an Auto Body collision repair type class, and I'm trying to find a college in Arizona that has it.

UTI or Universal Technical Institute. They have a campus in the Avondale/Phoenix area.

ASU, U of A, and NAU are the 3 big state public schools. There are a ton of community colleges - Mesa, Scottsdale, Glendale, Phoenix, Paradise Valley..
