To be a psychiatrist, you will need to get a Bachelor's degree and then apply to medical school. Medical School will be 4 years to get your MD. You then apply for a residency in Psychiatry and then further specialized training in child psychiatry.
You may want to consider Child PSYCHOLOGY. Many colleges offer a degree in psychology and then you would need to go on to get a master's degree or perhaps PhD in Child Psychology.

Looking to get a bachelors degree in archaeology but online college searches aren't bringing up anything accurate. I live a couple miles of north of New Orleans and will not let my national guard get in the way so I'm willing to drive hours and hours once a month to attend drill if I have to. Last resort I transfer to another unit in another state :p
Top Answer:
Try searching under "Anthropology." Usually, as undergraduate majors are more broad than fields practiced by graduates, Archaeology is a subset of the major Anthropology.
Here are some links to undergraduate programs.

There are multiple colleges you can attend and I'm not sure which is the best as far as zoology. You could try Ole Miss, USM, MSU, MC, Millsaps, etc.! :) I'd probably research and see which is the best, but I'm assuming maybe either Ole Miss or MSU, though I'm a Southern grad!

Ive been looking at some colleges. Are any of these good schools?
Alcorn State, Delta State, Rust College, University of Southern Mississippi, Southern University and A & M College, and Austin Peay State University
And what is the difference in graduate and undergraduate students in college?
Top Answer:
The state schools for each are pretty good, Tennesse and Ole Miss, then there's Vanderbilt in Nashville, Auburn in Alabama, the Georgia schools like UGA and Emory, and once you get into North Carolina they're endless (UNC, Duke, NC State)...

How many colleges are in Mississippi?
what school is the best & what school is the poor/not good?
And do not require any trips to the school.

Well since its on-line where its located is irrelevant. My favourite is Regis:
http://www.transfertoregis.org/index.html
The reason is they let you do 90 credits at an in state CC (and many offer them on-line nowadays) and the last year at Regis. They have an agreement with Northwest Arkansas
Community college so you are guaranteed of getting in. But it wouldn't be a problem anyway. If you do the sums this will usually work out cheaper than any other option I have seen. And Regis have these nifty combined bachelors/Masters that only take an extra year. These days every Tom, Dick and Harry has a bachelors, you really need a Masters to snag the better jobs.
Thanks
Bill
