im tryin to find a college in tennessee that has veterinary technician related classes so i can be a vet. tech. please help?

Most states require that you have a degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary technology degree program. You can find a list of these programs in your state through the AVMA website:

I live between Clarksville and Nashville Tennessee, im trying to search for colleges that allow you to major in Middle Eastern languages ( I guess that's what it'd be called ). Could anyone give me a list of colleges around my area or in Tennessee that offer this?? I would really appreciate it.

MTSU offers a major in Kurdish, but that's the only one. UTK only goes for the "big" languages. Same with Vanderbilt. You'll just have to go to each college's website and go to the tab for "Academics". That will lead you to the majors.

Also do a Google search for: "colleges with middle eastern languages majors". That gave some good leads.

I am a senior this year and I know literally, NOTHING about college, at all. I want to become a cosmetologist & I want to go to Tennessee but I don't know anything about cosmetology schools, or the difference between those and regular colleges, if someone could PLEASE help me!?

I live not too far away from it, and have a bunch of friends studying there. I'm not sure how great it is, but supposedly it's the premier cosmetology school in Tennessee, and it's in Knoxville. Good luck!

Im an artist and im wondering what are some colleges there that i could go to that isn't overly expensive. Also im trying to find some near memphis if possible and on a safe part of town too.

Rhodes College - a truly superb liberal arts college.

I want to go to college in Tennessee, but i want it to be around Nashville. I just want to know what the good colleges in that area are.

Vanderbilt University is located in Nashville and it's one of the highest ranked schools in the state and the country.
Some other great schools in Nashville are Lipscomb University, Belmont University, and Trevecca Nazarene University.

I know UT Knoxville has a full veterinary program but should I not get accepted what other colleges in Tennessee have a full veterinary program?

U Tennessee is the only vet school in Tennessee. You need a bachelors degree to apply to vet school, and you can do that bachelors (any major and the pre-vet classes) at most large schools.

I've been thinking about going to college in Tennessee lately. I want to become a psychiatrist and I don't really know what type of colleges in Tennessee would be best for learning this.
I wouldn't mind going to other colleges either, I just want to know what Tennessee might be able to offer, its my favorite place to be and I have grandparents their who are just awesome.

I am currently thinking about transferring to a college in Tennessee, either UTK, Johnson Bible College, Carson newman, or South College. I have read the in-state out-state section at UTK but if I were to become an independent from my parents and get residency in TN, which is instant there is no wait time, would i still have to pay out of state tuition. I am from out of the state. No where I look is there a clear answer. I would love one from someone with knowledge of the state or regulations when it comes to independent and dependent.

It is the official rules for in-state vs. out-of-state. If you are under 24, your state of residency is wherever your parents live. You will have to check the private school websites for their rules, but I suspect they are similar. Otherwise, everyone would be an "in-state student".
