Washington Colleges and Universities

I am going to be a senior in washington and I need to start looking at colleges. I got a 1490 on the SAT and have a accumulative gpa of about a 3.1 or 3.0. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be going to UW or WSU, but how are schools like Eastern, Central, and Western? What does it take to get into one of those schools?

I think you might have a good chance of getting into WSU. Western will be a little harder to get into considering that their admission is as selective as UW. Central would take you with no problem.

I want to go to college in Washington,DC. I want to major in nursing, but since my passion has always been acting/singing I'd like to minor in acting. Could somebody please tell me a list of colleges that offer both courses?

They all offer a nursing major (to become an RN), and they all have musical theater as well (which is an extra curricular activity, but will still be useful to you). Some may offer a minor in acting or performing arts too.

I'm 20 and I have a 2 month old son. I want to continue going to college but I need to find a college with family housing so he can live with me. I already tried online college, its not for me. Can anyone tell me if there are colleges in Washington state with family housing and what the colleges are?

none. You either take the SAT or the ACT. Or you don't go to an accredited/good college in the US. Being Canadian doesn't have anything to do with it, our college entrance exams test your English and math skills, not US history or government.

Colleges in the US that don't require the SAT or ACT are usually really really small liberal arts colleges, or weird private religious colleges. You aren't going to get a well rounded education at a school that doesn't have this minimum entrance standard. If you refuse to take the tests, your options are severely limited. You owe it to your self to take the SAT or ACT.

I was wondering what are some community colleges in Washington state that take anybody no matter the GPA they had in H.S. Preferably close to Seattle. Serious posts please.

I really want to go to school there, but I'm not sure which one. I have currently decided, after years of thinking about it, To attend college for graphic art/design.
Now I have a open house that i am attending on the 5th at the Seattle art institutes.

What are some other good colleges, around Seattle or in Washington.
