Wisconsin Colleges and Universities

I heard from people that all wisconsin colleges/universities pay for your books, its included in your tuition pay. Is it true for University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee?

Im going for 4 year college and want to do both radiology and ultrasound. And i would like to know which colleges in wisconsin offer that. So i would like to know as many colleges in wisconsin that have both.

When I say Minnesota, I mean closer to Wisconsin, possibly around the Twin Cities more. As for Wisconsin, it can be anywhere. I have looked at quite a few colleges in Wisconsin and Minnesota that do have them, but I might have missed a few in my searches, so I was wondering if anyone could give me a list of colleges that have a PRE-dental course. Also, I am too lazy to google it anymore.

I've applied to a few colleges in Wisconsin and I was wondering what the best 5 or 10 colleges/universities are.

So far I've been accepted to UW Stevens Point and I don't know if it's a good school or not. I don't know if I should celebrate or be worried about the rest of my applications being processed.

(My freshman and sophomore year I got less than a 1.5 gpa btw)

Depends on what you want to study. UW Madison is the flagship state school but with a 1.5, I doubt you would get in unless you would transfer in at a later date. Each of the UW schools have strengths. SP has an outstanding natural resource management department. If that is your interest, it's the best place to be if you're not at Madison. Milwaukee is strong as an urban university in almost all areas of study; Platteville for engineering; Whitewater for business; La Crosse for allied health/science. Private schools: Ripon, Lawrence, Edgewood, Viterbo.

IF you don't get into your school of choice, study your butt off at SP and transfer at the end of your sophomore year. Strong academic performance at the university level will compensate for your H.S. GPA.

Celebrate your admission. Without knowing your full academic history and where you've applied, it is difficult to assess whether your remaining applications will result in admission offers. Good luck to you, regardless of where you land.

I love animals and i would like to become a vet technician. What colleges are AVMA accredited in Wisconsin, where i can receive an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in veterinary medicine? Is UW-Waukesha an AVMA accredited college? Is UW-Milwaukee an AVMA accredited college? Thank you for your help(:

Your state universities and community colleges will offer online courses. These will be fully accredited, they won't scream "Online college" on a transcript, and they'll be less expensive. That's what you want--unless you're a glutton for punishment...

Are there any community colleges in the Green Bay, Wisconsin area that provide classes for someone trying to pursue Psychology? I'm looking to transfer to a community college there for a semester. I'm currently attending a community college in California but moving to Wisconsin for a few months. Would it be better to take online classes from my community college here in California?

Yes, there are Community Colleges in the Green Bay, WI area, and yes, they do offer courses that would allow you to continue working on your path to a Bachelor Degree in Psychology; however, I strongly suggest that you consider taking Online Courses through your college that you are currently attending. The reason is because if the move is only temporary, you could wind up with credits that although will definitely count as Electives, may not count towards your degree, because the college cannot determine whether or not they are truly considered Course Equivalent. Couple that with the fact that you will be considered an Out-of-State Resident and you will have just paid a lot of money and gained virtually nothing as a result!
