I only want information on colleges in Wyoming only. I've already tried Ai in Washington... and other places. I want to know if there is any college in Wyoming with film or video and such. Thanks.
Top Answer:
No. Sorry. I'm a student interested in film and there are no schools in Wyoming. The closest places are University of Colorado--Denver and University of Utah.
University of Wyoming does have some film studies classes and if you are interested in writing they have a play/screen writing part of the theater degree and a creative writing minor.
I am moving to Wyoming this summer, and I need a list of colleges that have degrees in middle level education or criminal justice. Please help!
Is Central Wyoming a good college? How many students are in an average class? Do they have intermere sports? Any more info would be great!
Top Answer:
It is a community college with about 2400 students. Faculty ration is 11:1 - that is eleven students to every faculty member which is very good and suggests a lot of opportunity for face time with the instructors.
They have some great vocation programs like farrier [horseshoeing] and welding, as well as academic subjects that ought to transfer to a 4-year school for those who want to go on.

I live in Seattle, and i'm looking for colleges that are away from the city. I spent a lot of time in Montana when I was younger and that's where all my family is. I'd like to stay relatively close to home, but still out of state. Do you guys have any suggestions of colleges that are away from the city and in "the country"?
I have been looking at some colleges in Montana and Wyoming and even Northern California.
Top Answer:
Look for "land-grant" universities; most of these are large state universities, although there are some private colleges among them. These schools are basically (and purposefully) located in the middle of nowhere, away from surrounding urban and suburban areas.

They haven't posted it yet on their website - but I would suggest you go back to http://ewc.wy.edu/ or try to contact them directly for more information - sorry I couldn't be of greater help.
Good Luck!!!
I live in Arkansas, but am thinking of moving to Montana when I graduate high school. I've read that it's best to go to a college for elementary education in the state you want to live in, because many states vary in licensure. I am not sure where I am going to live but it will either be somewhere in the south (not texas) or Montana or somewhere around Montana (like Wyoming, Utah, or the Dakotas). What are some of the best elementary education colleges to go to in or around those areas?

I'm a B student with a few A's and I prefer the colleges to be in these states: South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, or Nebraska. And also, if you are a psychologist answering this question, tell me what your job is like and if you enjoy it! Thanks so much!
Top Answer:
Almost all colleges offer psychology programs. Look up the undergrad degrees in those states and see if they offer psychology.
The University of Nevda, Reno has a good program and it's one of the cheaper colleges in the country.

If you knew me, you would know that i am the MOST responsible, organized person you would ever meet. And i don't want to stay on campus as a freshman in college. So can anyone gives me some names to colleges and universities that don't make you stay on campus. I have the money to rent an apartment, so that isn't as issue. I would like to stay in the Western US. States like Colorado, Wyoming, Arizona, Nebraska (i prefer this state out of all of them), Kansas, or Texas.
Top Answer:
Most colleges will allow you to live off campus as a freshman if:
You are living with a family member (not just parents, but aunts, uncles, etc). If you know someone who lives off campus and you can convince the administration you two are related, that may work as well.
If you already have 24 hours of college credit.
Or you are above the age of 20.
Otherwise, it is virtually unavoidable. You'll have to live in the dorm.
